Phone Number Trick

For the first day of May, here's a fun little party trick that I picked up somewhere along the way:

[1] Enter the 1st three digits of your home or cell phone number into your calculator or cell phone in calculator mode (not the area code - just the actual phone number).
[2] Now, multiply that number by 80.
[3] Next, add 1 to the total.
[4] Now, multiply the result by 250.
[5] Then, enter the remaining (the last four) digits of your home or cell phone number that you used in step #1 as a complete 4-digit number and press the addition key.
[6] Next, enter the same number as step #5 again and hit add once more.
[7] Then, subtract 250 from the total.
[8] Finally, divide by 2.
