Freedom to Manage Our Time

Yesterday, we celebrated the Declaration of Independence and the liberties and freedoms that emanate from it.

One of those great freedoms is how we use our time. We think that we have to go to work everyday, but that is a choice – based on carefully weighed consequences and benefits.

Therefore, we have the freedom to watch TV all day, sleep, or go to work - all based on the freedom of choice. We have the freedom as to which occupation or employer to pursue. We have the freedom to be in our own business.

We have the freedom to work the minimum number of hours each week or to invest many more in expanding our business or knowing more about our chosen industry.

Of course finances, family obligations, and other factors balance how we interpret and exercise those freedoms, but we have them just the same.
