Market and economic conditions can change - as many of us have experienced over the past few years. Depending on our product or service and the depth of our market, things are very different today than a couple of years ago.
It's our responsibility to respond to those changes - even to anticipate them - in order to survive and thrive. In my podcast message today, "Didn't See It Coming," I cite specific examples of how companies have had issues dealing with change, such as Kodak, Railway Express, and Blockbuster.
Change is inevitable. It's how we are prepared to address it and work with it that will determine our success. We have to look ahead, think ahead, plan ahead, and deal with the present to be successful.
