The Post Office Should Be Really Happy

Today, all I got in the mail were political postcards - direct mail from healthy campaign advertising, printing, and postage budgets. I hope the Post office is bracing itslef for the letdown that is coming next Wednesday. For at least the past 6 months they have been delivering flyers and postcards nearly every single day. On some days, like today, it was all the mail I received.

Yet, the Post Office will still be seeking a multi-cent increase in the price of postage because they are so poorly managed and inefficient.

Their bank account should look real good right now. Who wants to bet that it doesn't?

The delivery and management systems at the Post office - not to mention the unions - are so far out of whack that they can't help but loose money. Come to think of it, I don't remember the last time I mailed a letter - don't think it was even this year.
