On this Memorial Day weekend, we need to remember the men and women in our military that have served our country and protected our freedoms and liberties.
This weekend also serves as the unofficial beginning of summer. Remembering our heroes this weekend is our primary obligation, but we should be preparing for the seasonal change also.
The fresh start and the excitement that was spring just a few short weeks ago is now changing into the hotter outdoor activities of summer and the focus more on play rather than work. It's easy to get caught up in the distractions. We must still remember that there is work to be done, and that this is a great season to do it.
In my podcast message today "Goodbye Springtime" I observe the change of the season and honor our military heroes.
