The "Keystone" Pennsylvania Little League brought some real excitement into the Little League World Series this past week. It became an event for the whole town. Playing in front of a worldwide TV audience, the team from just 28½ miles west of Williamsport where the tournament is being played set attendance records that would make many major league teams take notice.
Their impressive run ended in the semi-finals last night, but they set a one day attendance record of over 41,000 and averaged in the 30,000s over 4 games.
We're talking little league here. Outstanding support!
