As we start 2012, this is the perfect time to make sure that our databases don't contain erroneous information or people who can no longer be contacted. We want to have the leanest, most accurate database possible.
Databases cannot serve us as the great tool they are if they are out-of-date or contain inaccuracies.
Just like we need to weed our lawns and gardens to rid unnecessary or unwanted material, we must exercise the same type of care with our online - or even manual - databases.
In my podcast message today, "Weeding Our Database," I discuss maintaining the integrity of the contact information we have collected for our sales leads and customers.
