Checking The Standings

Many of us read the sports pages or go online to check the standings of our favorite team or teams. When they win, we want to see how much ground they have gained on other teams. For a loss, we want to see the effect that has.

In sales, we can't do that so we need to have other measures in place.

We use measures such as conversion rates, cancellation rates, and market share. It would be great if there was a place we could see a graphic of where we stand in the market or in relation to other salespeople in our company, but we need to use other measures to give us this information.
