"Curiosity Is Indispensable"

To me the single most important quality of an effective and successful salesperson is the innate ability to ask questions - it can't be taught. It can be developed, but it has to be there from the beginning.

While product knowledge is important, it can be taught. The innate ability to ask questions because of a sense of curiosity and inquisitiveness is very special and cannot be taught. This is what we need to look for in ourselves and those whom we hire.

In today's podcast message "Curiosity Is Indispensable" I discuss this quality and how it forms the foundation for the sales process.
