Good Teams Find Ways To Win

Even when things don't start off well, good teams can find ways to win.

In tonight's Miami Heat-Boston Celtics game, the Heat had their 22-game winning streak on the line. It looked throught most of the game that the Celtics would stop the Heat at 22.

In fact, the Houston Rockets who shared second place most consecutive wins at 22 had their streak ended exactly 5 years tonight by the same Celtics.

With about 90 seconds to go in the game, the heat still trailed by 7. Then they closed and went ahead by a point. Miami ended up winning by 2-points in a very hard fought contest.

Miami had trailed by as much as 17 points but won their 23 consecutive game for sole possession of the second longest winning streak ever in the NBA. The Lakers still are first with 33.

Boston was very determined to win. It was only the heat's refusal to stay down that was the difference.
